On September 9, 2017 the Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (ICA LA) opened its doors as a new cultural organization in Downtown Los Angeles. Formerly the Santa Monica Museum of Art (SMMoA), the museum has over 30 years of experience in the presentation of contemporary art and programs for the community.
This 360 video steps takes the viewer back in time to revisit the build-out of the space with design by wHY and the inaugural exhibition Martin Ramírez: His Life in Pictures, Another Interpretation curated by ICA LA Good Works Director Elsa Longhauser, was part of the Getty Foundation’s Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA project.
