Join Worldwide Orphans (WWO) Program Development and Training Specialist, Lois Kam Heymann, for a special workshop designed for educators, librarians, and caregivers on the principles and methods of Element of Play® and Toy Libraries. Learn about the Element of Play® curriculum and how one can bring a Toy Library to their community.

Lois Kam Heymann, M.A. CCC-SLP, is a Speech and Language Pathologist with over 30 years’ experience working with children with listening, language, hearing and learning challenges and their parents and teachers. Lois has developed and taught her programs for developing listening and language skills in children all over the world as well as in colleges and universities in the US. Her book, The Sound of Hope, a manual for developing the art of listening, has a forward by Rosie O’Donnell, whose child was helped by her interventions.

Lois joined WWO three years ago as a consultant in program development and training. In her role as Program Development and Training Specialist, Lois creates Element of Play® programs and is responsible for training adults to facilitate play within the Toy Library program both domestically and internationally.
