ICA LA artist @sadiebarnette and her father @rodneybarnette invite you to celebrate their shared birthday on Thursday, October 10 at 7pm @theicala. ‘The New Eagle Creek Saloon’ in the Project Room will open its bar to the public for a night of music and performance within Barnette’s dreamlike reimagining of her father’s family-run business, Eagle Creek Saloon (1990-93) which served a multiracial gay community marginalized by the racist profiling practices in San Francisco at the time.
