Join us for a special guest edition of Art Buzz during the run of Jackie Castillo: Through the Descent, Like the Return, featuring a conversation with the artist and her longtime artist cohort: Sarita Schreiber, Hope Stutzman, Erica Vincenzi, and Dajin Yoon.

In this open-format gathering, the artists reflect on the vital roles that friendship, critique, and community play in sustaining creative practice. Having worked alongside one another for years, their dialogue offers a unique perspective on Castillo’s exhibition while also inviting us into the generative space of artist networks—a place where growth is mutual, ideas take shape, and communal bonds form a foundation for collaboration.

Before the conversation, enjoy light refreshments and the opportunity to connect with the artists and ICA LA’s Curatorial and Learning & Engagement teams.
